A Visit from Lorna Miser

Lorna Miser, founder of Lorna’s Laces yarns and author, will be at The Yarnery on Thursday, September 2 from 6-8:00 p.m. Lorna created Lorna's Laces in 1986 after her love of sewing evolved into a love of all things spinning, dyeing and knitting. Since selling Lorna's Laces in 2003, Lorna has been designing knitwear for numerous yarn companies, magazines and her own books. Faith, Hope, Love, Knitting is her first book, filled with patterns and stories for and about knitting.



Her new book - The Knitter's Guide to Hand-Dyed and Variegated Yarn - is due out in November 2010.


Lorna will bring along samples from both of her books and share stories from her knitting life. Stop by to visit with Lorna and be one of the first to preview the samples from her new book!
